When treating dental infections, we take extra care in the removal of all harmful tissue, while ensuring your tooth survives. If the decay hasn’t met the nerve, we simply remove infected tissue and place an herbal filling.  In most cases, an onlay is placed and the patient will be left with more enamel than they would have after a traditional root canal.

Materials Matter

In some circumstances, we opt for glass or ceramic restorations which can be a stronger and longer-lasting restoration, but in every case we opt for materials that are highly bio-compatible and aesthetic. We do not use materials that we deem to be potentially harmful to the body and in some cases we advocate for the elimination of toxins contained within dental materials. There can be allergies associated with certain dental materials, that when left undiagnosed, can lead to chronic oral inflammation. We believe passionately in the optimization of the natural beauty of teeth while honoring the overall systemic health of our patients.
